Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Techpharm LLC (“Techpharm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Scorepion at scorepion.win and any related pages or features (the “Service”).

Scorepion is currently in beta. The Service is offered as-is and is subject to change, suspension, or shutdown at our discretion. See Data retention and deletion below for what that means for your data.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Techpharm LLC, a company organized under the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Techpharm is the controller of personal information processed through the Service.

2. Information we collect

We try to keep the data we collect narrow and tied to the features you use. The categories below match what is actually stored in our database.

2.1 Account information

When you sign in — either with Google (via OAuth) or with an email and password — we receive and store:

  • Your name as it appears in your sign-in profile
  • Your email address
  • Your profile picture URL (if provided by Google)
  • The fact that you signed in (timestamps, sign-in method)

We do not receive or store your Google password. We use the minimum Google OAuth scopes needed to identify you (your basic profile and email address).

2.2 Profile information

You may add or edit:

  • A display name and optional username
  • A timezone

2.3 User-generated content

When you create or participate in events, you (or an event admin) may create records that include:

  • Event names, dates, sport, format, and game-length settings
  • Team names and rosters
  • “Players” — which can be registered users, or guests added by name only (see § 3 below)
  • Matches, scheduled times, free-text location labels (e.g. “Field 1”), home/away designations
  • Scores, period scores (innings, rounds, holes, etc.), and per-player scores
  • Public share toggles and the share slug for an event

This information is the substance of how the Service works; without it, we cannot deliver leaderboards, schedules, or live scoring.

2.4 Technical and log information

When you use the Service, our hosting provider (Supabase) automatically logs:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and operating system
  • The pages or API endpoints you accessed and the time of access
  • Errors and diagnostic information

We use this to operate the Service, investigate abuse, and debug issues.

2.5 Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage strictly to:

  • Keep you signed in (a session token issued by our auth provider)
  • Remember UI preferences

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We do not currently use third-party analytics.

3. A note about “guest players”

The Service lets an event admin add a person as a player by name, without that person creating an account. This is so leagues and pickup games can record participation without requiring everyone to sign up. We rely on the admin to have a legitimate reason to add a guest (for example, the guest is a friend, teammate, or league participant).

If you are added as a guest and want your name removed from the Service, contact us at [email protected] and we will remove or anonymize the relevant record.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate the Service: show your dashboard, generate schedules, accept score submissions, compute standings, and render share pages
  • Authenticate you and protect your account
  • Communicate with you about the Service (transactional emails such as sign-in verification — we do not currently send marketing emails)
  • Investigate and prevent abuse, fraud, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service
  • Improve the Service, including by reviewing logs and user-reported issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. How information is shared

5.1 Sub-processors

We rely on the following service providers to operate Scorepion. They process personal information only on our behalf and only for the purposes described in this policy.

ProviderWhat they doWhere
SupabaseDatabase (Postgres), authentication, file storage, edge functions, logsUnited States
GoogleOAuth sign-in (you choose to use Google)United States

If we add new sub-processors that change how personal information is handled, we will update this policy.

5.2 Public share pages

If an event admin enables the public share toggle on an event, the schedule, team names, standings, and completed scores for that event become viewable by anyone with the share URL. You can ask the event admin to disable sharing, or contact us at [email protected].

5.3 Legal and safety

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required to: comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; enforce our Terms of Service; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Techpharm, our users, or the public.

5.4 Business transfers

If Techpharm is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or insolvency, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

6. How we use data received via Google OAuth

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information only to:

  • Create or sign you into your Scorepion account
  • Display your name and avatar in the app and to event participants who interact with you
  • Communicate with you at your email address about the Service

We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties other than the sub-processors listed in § 5.1 acting on our behalf. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.

You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Server logs are retained for a shorter period (typically 30 days) for security and debugging.

Because the Service is in beta, we reserve the right to delete the database, take the Service offline, or restart the Service from scratch at our discretion, with or without notice. If we permanently shut down the Service, we will make a reasonable effort to give advance notice via email or a notice on scorepion.win, but we cannot guarantee that data will be exportable before deletion. Do not rely on the Service as a system of record for important data.

You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing [email protected]. Some information may persist in backups for a limited period after deletion, and content you contributed to shared events (such as a match you participated in) may remain attributed to your former display name unless you ask us to anonymize it.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Techpharm does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

Users between 13 and the age of majority in their jurisdiction should use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

10. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect personal information, including HTTPS/TLS in transit, row-level security in our database, and access controls on our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or stored on the Service. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

11. International users

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice (such as an in-app notice or an email). Continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
